Shimano  Metanium MG, Is the casting reel for a new  of  hit fake victims from SHIMANO. Designed for use with a fishing line PE,  The Metanium MG has just gotten a digital control upgrade! With the DC control now available on the Metanium series, it is now the lightest reel in its class to have the digital control function for “trouble free” casting. Weighing in at just 195/grams, it comes with a high speed 6.2:1 ratio for the standard model and 7.0:1 for the high speed model. Ideal for casting ultralight to heavy weight lures. The Metanium also comes with 8/1 SA-RB for use in saltwater. The lightweight magnesium body is also pretreated and multicoated to withstand the effects of saltwater and is ideal for use in both fresh and saltwater.
